Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist, 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate agents. Her grandfather had come to Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. Her parents got married in 1976. Psaki is also descended from Polish roots. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she graduated from the College of William & Mary with an education in English as well as sociology. She is a participant in Chi Omega. Psaki was an elite backstroke swimmer at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki was first involved in the 2001 re-election campaign by Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was then appointed as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and was the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki as an analyst in 2022 United States Elections and during 2024 Presidential Campaign. In 2023 she will host an online Peacock streaming show on MSNBC. The first time Psaki made an appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 30, where she talked about the Robb Elementary School shooting.
